Amazing Testimonies of Amazing Grace:

Isfahan Iran: On April 13th we had a very tough TV show because most of the callers on that day attacked us with ugly words. God’s grace was on display throughout the show and we were sorry for the callers. On April 20th show God turned the things around. Besides wonderful testimonies from our many, many callers, one caller’s entire family committed their lives to Christ as a result of April 13th’s repeat on Monday the 19th. Here is brother M. in his own words:“Am I speaking with Mr. Andaryas?... I really want to know what happened to my family, my children and my sister and my wife. They all say that they dreamed about Jesus after they watched your show. I don’t know what to do, I am shaking and confused. Can you help me please, can you also please pray for me so that I also can have the same experience?”

I shared God’s word and asked him to give his life to Christ and He can save him as well even without a dream. At this time the communication was lost with him but he called again and one of our counselors in LA led him to Christ. A family of 7 was saved. You know the most wonderful thing? It is God! I am so glad He does things that are amazing to us and gives us joy. Praise the Lord!

Brother Barat from Heart Afghanistan: “About 2 ½ years ago I heard the gospel through Voice of Christ and it touched my life because I was desperate for such a hope in my life but I did not know where to find it until I heard you, brother Hussain, sharing that Jesus said: “Come to me if you have loads that you cannot carry and if you are weary, because Jesus can give you full rest from all of those. Your message was so sweet that I continued to listen to you and one day as you were repeating a prayer I repeated with tears in my eyes and I gave my life to my Jesus Christ, my God, glory be to Him o Haleluyah.”

Yesterday, April 22, I called several Christians in Afghanistan whose lives God touched and were exposed to the gospel through the Voice of Christ TV show. Barat and his family are one such family.

Family News:A journey though the Tennessee Valley and the great state of Mississippi…Besides many blessings that God blessed us with, we had a wonderful family reunion in the great city Elvis Town. What a joy to be with the Morris family and meeting many other friends and co-workers. Memphis has always been a home to us. It is because of the warmth of Christian love and the hearts of God’s people who have a great friendship with the people of Afghanistan. Who knew that a Hazaragi Christian radio, a Dari/Pashto/Hazaragi Christian TV show, and loads of websites ministries will one day be streamed through out the world and specially Afghanistan through the city of Elvis. Elvis probably did not even dream about it! And yet God in His grace makes these possibilities and creates opportunities through His choosing. We so much praise the Lord for our Family in Christ there who have always loved us and showed us the grace of God. Mark, Nathan and I had a visit of Mississippi river and of course the BIG Apple Store. :) On Sunday The Lord gave me the opportunity to speak at Christ Fellowship. What a beautiful Church. If you visit Memphis area, You’ve got to visit this Church and meet pastor Kelvin and the saints at this wonderful fellowship. You will be on fire for God.

Our dear sister Cindy is going through medical treatment because of the multiple myeloma. My family and I request you, your Church, and your care group/small group to please lift up Cindy before our dear Lord Jesus Christ that God will bless her.

Please forgive my bold, but brief request.  This Easter day has stirred my faith: I need some Post Resurrection Power right now!

You family and friends all over the world have been so kind and faithful to bring me to God in prayer for three years.

Last week I learned that my blood protein marker for Multiple Myeloma cancer has doubled in the wrong direction.

I feel like a warrior on the war path, begging God to turn that around, according to His good and perfect choice. 

Will you join me?  Pray that when blood is drawn this coming Wednesday at Vanderbilt the 980 IGA will read lower (under 200 being normal). I have been taking a stronger oral chemo, albeit inconsistent due to 2 colds.  I will report back soon.

"I pray that...you may know /God's/ incomparably great power for us who believe.  That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms."  Ephesians 1:20-21.  Do you need some Post Resurrection Power, too?! Tell me if God did not shake you with the above words?

Let it be known: Nathan the co-pilot. While my wife and Rachel enjoyed fellowship with our sister Cindy, Nathan and I had another kind of fellowship. Nathan always complained that I don’t take him on the flights. Well, a wonderful friend of us actually gave Nathan a special treat when he graciously came to Memphis and flew Nathan and I to his town and back the next morning. And Nathan was the co-pilot throughout!!!

Beautiful Flag: While in Mississippi we were invited to a special night of food and fellowship and it was all yummy fish. And there was a surprise for us. Our host presented us with a beautiful flag of the United States. I was really humbled by this act of our dear friends in Mississippi and the honorable congressman who honored us with such a gift. Here is the part that I like:
… this flag was flown over the United States Capitol… for Hussain Andaryas in honor of attaining U.S. Citizenship on January 21, 2010 as a gift from your friends in Mississippi… What a blessing and honor and you our friends in Mississippi.

Thank you for your partnership… As always, we are so much thankful to God for His people who care for us and love us and support the ministry we are involved. We praise the Lord for each one of you and appreciate your prayerful practical partnership in reaching the people of Afghanistan with glorious gospel of our dear Lord Jesus.
